12:30-1:00  Nancy DeSisto

Nancy returned to horses as an adult after a decade of teaching and competing as a world-class competitive ballroom dancer.  A lifetime of loving horses, studying, and successfully competing in three-day-eventing, dressage and foxhunting left a craving for something deeper and more meaningful with her horses.  She has successfully melded her study of the human body through dance into a career helping equestrians become safer, more effective riders.  After seeing Pat and Linda Parelli in a life changing demonstration almost 10 years ago, Nancy became an avid student of "natural horsemanship" in all of its various forms.

Nancy is a certified "Centered Riding" instructor, graduate of the British Horse Society, founded and became Educational Director of the Treasure Coast Riding Club and an instructor for Pony Club.  She has helped hundreds of women gain a greater understanding of the all-important role of leadership with horses.

Ania Kniepinska will join Nancy for a demonstration of ground skills and with obstacles.  Ania will also demonstrate bridleless riding.  Nancy will include liberty demonstrations with her horses showing how to keep a horse interested and engaged  - a particularly useful skill if your horse is not able to be ridden.
