Equine Manager

We are looking for a very reliable, organized, self-motivated individual with extensive horse experience to fill the position of Equine Manager.
The Equine Manager is responsible for the day-to-day care of approximately 25-35 horses. Must be confident handling and caring for abused, traumatized and feral horses.
The ideal candidate must be a team player, adept at maintaining efficient systems to run stable and grounds care routines, have strong, timely, and sophisticated communication skills, and be capable of handling the physical demands of the position.
Must have experience creating nutritionally sound feeding programs, providing first level medical care including recognizing symptoms of illness and lameness, administering oral medications, wound care, and bandaging.
